Datuk Seri Ahmad Khusairi Yahya has been appointed the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) director, replacing Datuk Hassan Yahya, who retired effective Feb 1.

According to a press statement from MACC, Ahmad Khusairi, 49, was previously the Policy Planning and Research Division director, and began his career as an investigating officer in 1992.

Meanwhile, Datuk Shaharom Nizam Abd Manap, 53, was appointed Sabah MACC director effective Tuesday (March 1), replacing Datuk Hishamuddin Hashim.

Shaharom was previously Negeri Sembilan MACC director, and began his service as an investigating officer in 1992.

Hishamuddin was transferred to the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya, as the director of Intelligence.
