United States (US) vice president Joe Biden, should understand Malaysia’s law before alleging that the government had used pressure to stifle the country’s opposition.

UMNO Youth chief, Khairy Jamaluddin in his tweet said that US should also close Guantanamo to prove the country’s democratic law.

Khairy also retweeted a tweet which stated the depleting confidence in the US democracy has been proven through recent issues and cases such as Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

Gerakan Youth chief Tan Keng Liang was also actively commenting on Biden’s remark on twitter.

Keng Liang also described Malaysia’s seriousness in valuating justice and stressed that there are no exceptions even for the Opposition leader.

However, Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) deputy chief, fahmi fadzil was only seen retweeting some of the Tweets made by Biden on social media.

US vice president Joseph Biden has criticised the Malaysian government decision to retain the Sedition Act 1948 citing the move aims to insulate the opposition.

Biden also hoped that the Malaysian government would rectify the situation through Anwar’s case.
