A total of 1,633 flood victims from 426 families in Johor were still housed at 23 relief centres in eight districts as at 10am Saturday.

According to the state police contingent headquarters' flood operations room, in Segamat, 566 flood evacuees were at nine relief centres, Batu Pahat 422 (at five relief centres), Pontian 401 (three), Kota Tinggi 97 (two), Johor Baharu 65 (one), Kulaijaya 54 (one), Kluang 20 (one) and Ledang, eight (one).

In Segamat, among the flood-hit areas are Kampung Sanglang, Kampung Paya Dalam, Kampung Awat, Kampung Pogoh 2, Kampung Batu Badak, Kampung Tandong and Kampung Spang Loi.

In Batu Pahat, areas still flooded are Koris, Kampung Parit Haji Kamisan, Sungai Suloh, Parit Lapis and Kampung Linau Kechil.

In Kota Tinggi, the affected areas are Kampung Mawai Baru and Kampung Perpat, Pontian (Parit Stan and Tampuk Laut), Ledang (Kampung Kundang Ulu), Johor Baharu (Kampung Nong Chik), Kluang (Kampung Melayu Batu 4, near Paloh) and Kulaijaya (Kampung Baru Sengkang).
