Four flights scheduled to land at the KL International Airport (KLIA) had to be rerouted to other airports due to bad weather.

Apart from that, 12 flight arrivals and seven flight departures at the International Airport 2 (klia2) were delayed.

A Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad (MAHB) spokesman said two of the flights scheduled to land at the KLIA were rerouted to the Penang International Airport, while two others, to the Senai International Airport in Johor.

"In addition, a flight from Penang had to turn back (also due to bad weather)," he said when contacted by Bernama.
