A Cessna plane, which was reported missing around Batu Dam near Batu Caves yesterday evening, was found at around 5am this morning.

Three individuals in the place are reported to be safe and efforts are underway in bringing out the plane.

The search and rescue mission stopped at 9pm last night and was supposed to continue at 7am this morning with the operations focusing on the Rawang and Gombak areas involving air and land movements.

The plane was reported missing around 6pm yesterday evening after losing contact with the control tower.
The search and rescue operation by the fire brigade and police started three hours later after the plane failed to return to the base, according to the New Straits Times.

The aircraft belongs to the Royal Selangor Flying Club and left the Subang Royal Malaysian Air Force airbase at 5.20pm.
