A special documentary programme on Astro Kasih's Longest Sea Cleanup will be aired on the Discovery channel.

The documentary programme, called “Reef Rescuers”, is expected to be aired on channel 551 at end of May.

The documentary produced by Emile Guertin, tells how a group of people with different background working together for a common cause. This has also resulted in the accomplishment of the Guinness World Record for the longest sea cleanup for 168 hours.

Guertin added that she tried to capture the experiences from all angles by using camera including GoPro.

In line with the Discovery channel, the documentary will include a story full of drama, action and excitement.

She also hopes that through the programme, it could convey a clear message about the importance of marine conservation among the public.
