Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" is the first track to hit 4.2 million streams in a single day.

The song, which also features Charlie Puth, was recorded for the "Furious 7" soundtrack and plays towards the movie's end as the audience bids its final on-screen farewell to Paul Walker (pic) and his character ‘Brian'.

"Furious 7" looks set to continue breaking box office records, while the song most closely associated with it is also on its way to setting new ones. As well as being played over 4 million times in a day, the track currently holds the Spotify record for most streams in a week -- 21.9 million and is sitting in the number-one position on the Spotify chart in 26 different countries.

"This is one of those special moments when all the forces have aligned to create a song that is resonating emotionally with millions around the world," said Craig Kallman, Chairman of Atlantic Records of the track's success.
