As a prelude to the European Film Market of the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival, Altered Image and Egoli Tossell Film have announced that the British-German biopic "Lust for Life" will focus on the collaboration between David Bowie and Iggy Pop in Berlin.

The German city, which at the time was divided into East and West, will serve as a backdrop to the story about the collaboration between two of the most famous artists at the time. The work they did together led to the album "Low" for British artist Bowie and to the albums "The Idiot" and "Lust for Life" for American musician Iggy Pop.

"Lust for Life" will be directed by British director Gabriel Range who became famous thanks to the fake documentary "Death of a President" about a fictional assassination of George W. Bush.
