Jumlah angka korban rasmi gempa bumi di Nepal setakat ini meningkat kepada 3,218 orang.

Bencana yang menimpa negara banjaran Himalaya itu pada Sabtu lalu turut mengakibatkan kecederaan terhadap 6,500 yang lain.

Laman Twitter pula dipenuhi tweet daripada orang ramai yang bersimpati selain mereka yang berusaha untuk mendapatkan bantuan.

Antara selebriti popular yang melahirkan kesedihan terhadap tragedi ini Nepal termasuklah Dwayne Johnson, Ellen DeGeneres, Harry Styles dan Alyssa Milano.





Beberapa selebriti turut mengunakan profil Twitter sebagai landasan untuk mengutip derma bagi membantu mangsa-mangsa gempa bumi.

Mereka termasuklah penyanyi Pink, pelakon Zoe Saldana dan bintang realiti, Kim Kardashian.




Pelakon yang popular menerusi siri televisyen One Tree Hil iaitu Sophia Bush serta pengurus Justin Bieber antara yang terkesan dengan berita kematian Dan Fredinburg.

Kedua-dua mereka mengenali Dan Fredinburg secara peribadi melahirkan kesedihan mereka menerusi akaun Instagram dan Twitter.
