Indonesian police said they have captured three more suspected militants following the twin suicide bombings in Jakarta last week that killed three policemen and injured 12 other police and civilians, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

According to Central Java Police spokesman Djarod Padakova, a man identified as Wahyudi was arrested on Monday in West Java''s Sukoharjo district, while another man was caught hours later in the neighbouring district of Karanganyar.

National police spokesman Setyo Wasisto said the third suspect was detained a day earlier in Cibubur, near Jakarta.

Six total suspects have been arrested in the wake of the bombings

The May 24 bombings took place near a bus terminal in eastern Jakarta, with the suicide bombers identified as Ichwan Nurul Salam and Ahmad Sukri, both 31 years old.

Salam lived in the city of Bandung in West Java province, while Skri was a tailor in Garut town.

Local police are examining their DNA.
