The conditional movement control order (MCO) in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Sabah and several localities in other states has been extended until Jan 14, 2021, said Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said the government decided on this after taking the advice and risk assessment of the Health Ministry (MOH) based on the trend and increase in positive Covid-19 cases in these areas and the emergence of new clusters in Kuala Lumpur.

Ismail said for the other states, the extension of the conditional MCO will also affect Southwest Mukim 12 and Northeast Mukim 13 in Penang; Seremban in Negeri Sembilan; and Johor Bahru and Batu Pahat in Johor.

The conditional movement control order (MCO) in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Sabah and several localities in other states has been extended until Dec 31, said Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said the government made this decision following the advice and risk assessment of the Health Ministry, based on the trend and rising positive cases of Covid-19 in these places. The CMCO in these three states was scheduled to end on Dec 20.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry today reported 1,683 new Covid-19 cases and no new deaths.

The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in several localities in Sabah and Pahang will be lifted according to schedule tomorrow.

Several more localities in Sabah, Sarawak and Kuala Lumpur will come under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from this Sunday until Aug 7.

The EMCO will be enforced in several localities in Pahang, Sarawak and Sabah from Thursday (July 8) until July 21.

The government has announced imposing EMCO in several more localities in Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, Kedah, Pahang and Kelantan following rising COVID-19 cases in the area.

Several areas in Johor, Sabah and Pahang will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from Tuesday, June 22 until July 5.

Two villages in Sarawak and several localities in Sabah are to come under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from June 17-30.

Several localities in Johor, Sabah and Sarawak will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from June 16 to June 29.

Several localities in five states will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from June 12 to June 25 to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Several localities in Sabah, Sarawak, Pahang, Johor and Kelantan will come under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) for 14 days from Friday until June 24.

Several localities in Sabah and one each in Sarawak and Pahang will be placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from June 5-18.

Several localities in Perak, Pahang, Sabah and Sarawak will be subject to the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from June 2 to 15.

Several localities in Sabah, Sarawak and Pahang will be placed under the EMCO from May 24-June 6 following a significant spike in COVID-19 cases during a short period in these areas.

The Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) will be imposed in several localities in Sabah, Johor and Kuala Lumpur from May 23 until June 5.
