Society's attitude of not giving importance to facilities for PwD makes daily routines, including school sessions, more challenging for the community.

The schooling session will return to normal without the rotation system starting tomorrow, says Education Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin.

In Selangor, the state education department said, 375,232 students began their face-to-face learning session today.

Some 2.7 million students nationwide began face-to-face sessions today for the 2022/2023 new school term, Senior Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin said.

The government has announced that all national schools across the country will begin to reopen from July 15.

In a press conference today, Education Minister Mohd Radzi Md Jidin said, Forms 1 to 4, remove classes, as well as Standard 5 and 6 can resume from July 15.

However, Standards 1 to 4 would only resume on July 22.

The minister also announced that the government had identified three models for schools to operate based on its differing abilities to adhere to the SOPs on social distancing.

The three models are for single-session schools, two-session schools, and alternating school sessions

MOE is committed to ensuring that face-to-face schooling sessions for 2022 can be implemented throughout the year via several initiatives, including compliance with SOPs.

On average, student attendance exceeded 85 per cent during the face-to-face school sessions for the period Oct 3 until yesterday, the Dewan Rakyat was told today.

They began their rotational face-to-face school sessions following the state's move to Phase Four of the National Recovery Plan (NRP).
