Pakatan Harapan was only responsible for 5.3 percent of the directly awarded contracts worth RM6.6 billion mentioned by Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz yesterday.
At a press conference at the Parliament lobby today, former finance minister Lim Guan Eng said most of the RM6.61 billion went to legacy projects (67.7 percent) and contracts for supplies or services (26.5 percent) taken on during the BN administration.
He stressed that Harapan was only responsible for a fraction (0.07 percent) of the directly awarded contracts during its 22 months in power, which were mostly due to reasons that could not be avoided.

#KiniNews: Pay for quarantine or stay in the airport, minister tells foreigners
Foreigners who are allowed to enter Malaysia must pay their quarantine charges and Covid-19 testing fees upon arrival or they can stay in the airport, warned Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
"We have made the decision that before they can pass immigration, they must make the payment for their hotel or quarantine centres.
"If they refuse to pay, we will not let them pass immigration, so they can stay at the airport till whenever," Ismail Sabri said in his press conference on Covid-19 updates today.
Previously, he said there were many incidents where foreigners who could enter Malaysia refused to pay for their quarantine and testing fees after those were completed.

Lim pleaded not guilty to a charge under Section 23(1) of the MACC Act 2009 for using his position at the time for the gratification of RM372,009 for Chew, through private company Excel Property Management and Consultancy Sdn Bhd.
Speaking at a press conference after the hearing Lim said that it was an act of political vengeance against him and added that the company involved did not even get the project.

The government has announced that all national schools across the country will begin to reopen from July 15.
In a press conference today, Education Minister Mohd Radzi Md Jidin said, Forms 1 to 4, remove classes, as well as Standard 5 and 6 can resume from July 15.
However, Standards 1 to 4 would only resume on July 22.
The minister also announced that the government had identified three models for schools to operate based on its differing abilities to adhere to the SOPs on social distancing.
The three models are for single-session schools, two-session schools, and alternating school sessions
