Hamas Political Bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh has congratulated Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on his appointment as Malaysia's 10th Prime Minister.

UMNO will today hold a special meeting of the political bureau and the Supreme Council following the announcement on the dissolution of Parliament.

Seberang Jaya assemblyperson Dr Afif Bahardin said he will sit as a Bersatu representative when the Penang state assembly convenes in October.

Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the party's direction after the Sabah State Election will be discussed in the UMNO Political Bureau and subsequently raised in the Supreme Council.

PKR Political Bureau will also look into the claims and if it involves party members, they will be brought before the Disciplinary Committee.

Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail will evaluate the matter before bringing it up at the party's Political Bureau meeting scheduled tomorrow night.

Parti Keadilan Rakyat's (PKR) Political Bureau is set to hold a meeting today afternoon to discuss the response to the letter from the Selangor palace.

The cases were presented during the PKR political bureau meeting on May 20, which was chaired by Mohamed Azmin Ali and also attended by Anwar Ibrahim.
