PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said his party would be using its own logo in the upcoming Sabah state elections, despite an earlier suggestion for political parties aligned to Warisan to contest in the elections using the Warisan logo.  

Previously, Amanah Youth had proposed that parties aligned to Warisan should contest in the Sabah state elections using the Warisan logo.

However, PKR Sabah had rejected Amanah's suggestion, calling it "regressive" and "not strategic".

PKR Sabah said the proposal was very inappropriate and it was akin to telling Umno to use the Bersatu logo.

Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) and DAP will respect PKR's decision to use its own logo in the upcoming Johor state election despite having differences on the matter.

The decision by Pakatan Harapan to contest in the 12th Sarawak state election using respective logos of the component parties has nothing to do with its defeat in the Melaka state election.

Pakatan Harapan has finalised seat allocations for the Melaka state election and will contest under its own logo, its chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said.
