#KiniNews: Police inspector charged with rape, pleads not guilty

A police inspector who was arrested for allegedly raping two Mongolian women that he detained at a movement control order (MCO) roadblock, was charged at the Petaling Jaya Sessions Court today with eight counts of rape and one count of outraging the modesty of the women.

Hazrul Hizham Ghazali pleaded not guilty after all charges were read before Judge Norshila Kamaruddin.

The court then set bail at RM27,000 with one surety for all charges and fixed June 2 for mention.
