Hakim berkata keputusan Mahkamah Pilihan Raya dalam menolak bantahan awal Mohd Aleef, adalah tidak boleh dirayu ke Mahkamah Persekutuan.

Mohamad Ali yang tewas dalam PRN Melaka, memfailkan petisyen bagi membatalkan kemenangan Dr Mohd Aleef Yusof daripada PN yang memenangi kerusi itu.

BN candidate for the Sungai Udang state seat Datuk Seri Mohamad Ali Mohamad who lost in the recent Melaka State Election has filed an election petition to annul the victory of Dr Mohd Aleef Yusof (PN)

"Do not fight with anyone and continue to fulfil your responsibilities as an elected assemblyman," Dr Mohd Aleef Yusof (Sungai Udang) and Dr Mohd Yadzil Yaakub (Bemban) were told.

"Jangan gaduh dengan siapa-siapa dan terus tunaikan tangggung jawab serta amanah sebagai Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) yang telah dipilih."

"I am the elected representative for all voters in the Sungai Udang state constituency, including those who supported other parties," said Dr Mohd Aleef Yusof, the PN candidate who won the seat.

PN candidate for Sungai Udang, Dr Mohd Aleef Yusof is sacrificing his medical career to contest in the Melaka state election due to his interest in politics and desire to serve the community.

Walaupun sudah lebih 36 tahun terjun ke kancah politik, namun Timbalan Pengerusi Badan Perhubungan Umno Melaka Datuk Seri Mohamad Ali Mohamad, buat pertama kalinya menjadi calon dan akan bertanding.
