Warisan president Shafie Apdal has apologised to security forces, following Segama candidate Mohamaddin Ketapi's controversial remarks on the Lahad Datu intrusion.

Shafie said Mohamaddin's remarks had been misunderstood and was not meant to insult the security forces.

"Judicial commissioner Rohani Ismail also ordered both sides to file their witness statements before or on June 15," says the defendants' lawyer Lim Qi Shi.

The nine managed to escape the gallows.

The High Court has fixed June 25 for decision on the Lahad Datu intrusion case.
