After recording the highest number of daily recoveries on Monday, Covid-19 cases in Malaysia grew on Tuesday, with 170 new cases. This brings the total number of cases to 3,963.

Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also reported one new death involving a man who had attended a religious gathering in Sulawesi from March 17 to March 24.

Malaysia has reported the highest number of daily recoveries to date with 236 people being discharged after recovering from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.  

This brings the total recoveries to 1,241 people or 32.72 percent, almost a third of all Covid-19 cases.

The number of COVID-19 daily recoveries in Malaysia exceeded daily new cases for the eighth day in a row after 16,751 recovered cases were reported today.

Malaysia's COVID-19 recovery cases continue to exceed the number of daily new infections when 17,205 recoveries were reported compared to 15,549 new cases as of noon today.

Malaysia reported 7,749 COVID-19 recovery cases Friday, the highest number of daily recoveries recorded since the pandemic hit the country.

Malaysia recorded 7,548 COVID-19 recovery cases today, the highest reported since the outbreak in the country, thus bringing the total cases of recovery to 534,357.

Malaysia recorded 2,348 COVID-19 infection recoveries, the highest ever recorded over a 24-hour period while the daily tally dropped to three digits at 970 cases.

New COVID-19 cases, however, remained at four digits, although there was a slight drop with 1,168 cases reported, with active cases now at 11,666.
