The government is optimistic of achieving the target of zero hardcore poverty by the end of 2025 with new integrated and holistic approaches in implementing the pilot projects.

The government wants to eradicate hardcore poverty, involving 195,664 families in the country, by the end of 2025 through the Keluarga Malaysia hardcore poverty eradication programme (BMTKM).

The construction of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), costing RM284 million in the Enstek industrial area, Negeri Sembilan, is expected to take three years and nine months to complete.
