All classes of public transport vehicles plying between Malaysia and Singapore will be allowed to operate from April 1 in line with the reopening of land borders between the two countries.

Interstate travel for solemnisation ceremony purposes will now be allowed under the conditional Movement Control Order.

International Trade and Industry Minister Azmin Ali said  that companies listed in the additional sectors will have to submit their application to MITI and must comply with procedures that have been set for their respective industries.

He also said all workers of companies allowed to operate during the MCO period must be screened for COVID-19.
