Local authorities have the power to close factories - Zuraida
The local authorities (PBTs) have the power to close down factories that violate the COVID-19 SOPs, said Housing and Local Government (KPKT) Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.

Zuraida said enforcement against those found committing such offences falls under the jurisdiction of the Environment and Water Ministry through the Department of Environment.
