The Air Unit of the JBPM today completed the task of delivering 25 tonnes of food supplies to 13 Orang Asli settlements and posts in the district.

JBPM has mobilised three more helicopters to make compassion flights to send food supplies to eight Orang Asli settlements in Gua Musang after their land routes were left impassable.

The JBPM today began sending 21 tonnes of food supply for 1,400 Orang Asli families in several posts in Gua Musang.

The security forces have taken action by conducting operations to maintain security in the Orang Asli settlements affected by the tiger.

A study should be conducted to determine the factors that caused the mammal to come out of its natural habitat, Mohd Amar said.

Three localities in Sabah and two more in Pahang will come under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from Sept 26 until Oct 9.

Five localities, four in Pahang and another in Sabah have been placed under the EMCO from this Sunday until Sept 25, said National Security Council (MKN) director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad.

The services are expected to be available by October this year and will function as an immediate solution to the connectivity issues.

Saifuddin also said that his ministry was evaluating the extent of usage and effectiveness of internet centres in Orang Asli settlements.
