The fasting month and fire crackers are inseparatable (for some) even though the letting off of fire crackers is illegal. Police enforcement has been taken and action taken by the Customs department against its importers, yet there are still news reports of children missing their fingers reported each year through pyrotechnic accidents. The latest casualty was reported on Tuesday evening. Our reporter will investigate the source of the fire crackers, how it was readily available and sold and what led to these incidents.
