Swap your Minifigure for your favourite one

Staring at the same Lego Minifigures that you own may be boring for many, as constant thoughts of replacing them with new ones may bombard your mind.

What if someone could trade in their toys with yours, you think? Well, that is exactly what Legoland Malaysia is currently offering.

Called the Minifigure Swap, the initiative is a long-standing and highly popular Legoland tradition which involves the trading of Minifigures.

Guests visiting Legoland can swap their Minifigures with Legoland staff, aptly called Model Citizens.

Model Citizens wear the figurines on their name badges and have no choice but to agree to the exchange.

Park guests, on the other hand, can hold on to their Minifigures if they want to as they are not under the same obligation to swap.

Since the initiative’s launch last week, over 3,000 children and those young-at-heart have been actively getting involved in the swap, especially because Model Citizens almost always have access to some of the most sought after figurines.

To kick start the initiave, Legoland has armed Model Citizens with some 300 famous figurines.

If you worry that you do not have a figurine, fret not.

To help of any guests who do not have any figurines, a complementary ‘Build A Minifigure (BAM)’ voucher will be given away with the purchase of ‘Kids Meal’ at selected food and beverages outlets at the park between March 16 to 31.

To date, there are almost 4,000 Minifigure characters ranging from policemen to princesses and cowboys to cheerleaders.
