Just in time for E3, Korean phone-making behemoth Samsung has launched Game Recorder +, a utility exclusively for its flagship Galaxy handsets.

Once installed, the app appears as a ‘floating' User interface on top of the game being played and when activated, will record the player's progress in full HD. As well as capturing what's on the screen, the app activates the front-facing camera and microphone so that a commentary can also be provided.

But as well as capturing what's happening on screen, the app will log touch interactions. Samsung says that despite its functionality it won't slow a handset's performance down and that once captured a video can be trimmed and edited and then automatically uploaded to YouTube.

Game Recorder + is available from Samsung's own app store or via Google Play. It is compatible with the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Galaxy S5 and S4 and with the Galaxy Note 4, 3, and 2 provided they're running Android Jellybean or later.
