Pressured to down hard liquor by men, bridesmaid chokes to death in China

A MERRYMAKING wedding reception was marred by the death of bridesmaid after she allegedly binged on heavy liquor during the event.
The bridesmaid from Hainan was allegedly pressured by a group of men seated at her table to consume 'Baijiu', a deadly concoction containing 40 to 60 per cent alcohol, The Daily Mail reported.
By-standers recorded the 'episode' and the 23-second footage went viral not long after it was uploaded on YouTube.
The footage included the woman, known as Yang consuming the drink whilst being cheered by several men who coaxed her action.
After being in a weak state, they wheeled her out of the ballroom on a hotel trolley to enter the elevator.
Several men were seen carrying her out of the hotel.
She was brought to Wenchang City People’s hospital, and was pronounced dead 40 minutes later.
It was reported that her death was due to alcohol poisoning which can inevitably lead to severe brain damage. coma and death.
