Low-cost carrier Firefly Airlines today apologised for its advertisements which netizens accuse of sexism.
The airline stated that they have no intention to be sexist in conducting their business and they have the utmost respect for everyone.
“We regret that our recent advertisement visuals has caused discomfort in certain quarters and for that, we apologise,” read a statement posted on Firefly’s official Facebook page.
Firefly last Friday launched an advertising campaign for flight tickets with hefty discounts using the female derriere which draw backlash from netizens.
The airline has since removed the advertisements from all social media platforms.
