Why last minute change of Malaysia vs Barcelona match venue?

Many Twitter users are complaining about the change of venue of Malaysia XI versus Barcelona FC match at Bukit Jalil National Stadium to Shah Alam Stadium.

Many argue it’s the grass quality issue which caused the chnage, however, why was the decision made at the last minute?

It somehow affected the country's image as the Barcelona FC is a giant club.

To comment on the grass issue, sports critics Rizal Hashim said the country has many world-class facilities, but not heavily invested to maintain the facilities.
