United States rider, Travis McCabe of UnitedHealthCare Pro Cycling Team won the second stage of the Le Tour de Langkawi Cycling Tour from Jerteh to Gerik, on Thursday.

The victory propelled the 27-year-old American to second place in the race for the Yellow jersey (overall leader) behind Dimension Data rider, Ryan Gibbons who finished third in today's race, the longest in the tour, stretching over a distance of 208.1km.

For his feat, Gibbons also claimed the Blue Jersey after collecting 26 points, five points ahead of McCabe with 21 points.

Kazakhstan rider Yevgeniy Gidich of Vino-Astana Motors claimed the White Jersey as the Best Asian Rider while Mohd Shahrul Mat Amin of Terengganu Cycling Team emerged as the best Malaysian rider after finishing in 10th place overall. --Bernama
