Lately, the hobby of cycling has increasingly become the focus and gathering more and more fans.
However, the behaviour of some of them who were seen as selfish and do not care about safety, has angered many.
National track cycling champion, Mohd Azizulhasni Awang in an update on Facebook, has openly chided this group not to make the issue of road safety a trivial matter.
"On the road, it is not like playing ‘Saidina’. If you make a mistake, you can repeat it. God willing, enough with what I see with my own eyes.
"We think we are great on the road but if we are hit by another vehicle, what will it be like?
"It must be remembered, we are only two-wheeled, the heaviest may be 100kg if compared to other vehicles that have four tyres and weigh at least 1,000kg," wrote the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist.
He also shared some tips to help cyclists avoid accidents on the road.
"If possible, choose a safe cycling place and less congested of other vehicles.
"When cycling, if possible stay close to the road line, try not to sidestep like a zig-zag.
"When cycling in small groups, make only one long line and can make swap turns. Similarly, cycling in large groups, make two lines and try to get close to the road shoulder.
"When making a turn, make sure you give a hand signal, just as there are potholes or obstacles on the road.
"If cycling in large groups, it is better if you have an escort at least in the back. And most importantly, please stop when the lights are red," he added.
The country's gold medal prospect in the upcoming Olympic Games also had the opportunity to advise cyclists to practise mutual respect while on the road.
"Treat people the way you want to be treated. Do not provoke the anger of other road users because the impact will be on everyone later. The fault of one person may affect all the rest," he added.
