Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman said the management of both teams were also reminded against such wrongdoing.
The Terengganu Football Association (FA) has warned that it will not compromise with players from the state squad and T-Team FC if found involved in match-fixing and corruption.
Its president, Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman said the management of both teams were also reminded against such wrongdoing.
"Any player, management official or anyone else who tries to commit such malpractice will face stern action from us (Terengganu FA) if found involved."
Ahmad Razif who is also Terengganu Menteri Besar, said this to reporters following the recent arrest of three players from the Malaysian Indian Sports Council-Malaysia Indian Football Association (MISC-MIFA) over alleged match-fixing.
They were reported to have accepted bribes of between RM10,000 and RM30,000 from bookies who fixed the results of football matches.
Ahmad Razif said although no players from both Terengganu and T-Team had been involved, the warning was to remind them not to do so.
He said the action taken against culprits if found involved could be based on criminal law or the rules set by the respective football associations.
