Penang Bridge Half Marathon expected to attract 12,000 runners

To date, some 8,000 participants have confirmed their entries for the event.
The Penang Bridge Half Marathon to be held on June 14, are expected to attract 12,000 participants, said organising chairman Danny Law Heng Kiang.
He said the 21km run at Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge, featuring six categories - men's and women's open; men's and women's veteran; and boys and girls junior.
"To date, some 8,000 participants had confirmed their entries," said Danny Law who is also state Tourism and Culture Development Committee chairman here today.
He said the half marathon will be held in conjunction with the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (Aims) Asia-Pacific Conference from June 12 to 13, at Olive Hotel, Penang.
