Manchester United clinched their 20th English Premier League title last night thanks to Van Persie's hat trick.
Local fans of Manchester United shared their excitement on Twitter. ‘#GGMU’, ‘#MUFC’, ‘Sir Alex Ferguson’, and ‘Manchester United’ continue to be trending among Malaysia’s Twitter timeline.
With the General Election (GE13) ‘fever’, one twitter user joked about raising Manchester United’s flag.
