Malaysia's sole representative in the Asian Champions League (ACL), Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) failed to advance into the third round after losing 0-3 to Bangkok Glass FC at the Leo Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday night.

The three goals for the Thai Premier League side were scored by Narong Jansawek (28th min) and a brace by Lazarus Kaimbi (52nd and 62nd min), according to the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) website; www.the-afc.com

Bangkok Glass FC will now face Beijing Guoan from China at the Beijing Workers Stadium in Beijing on Feb 17.

The winner of the round will qualify for Group G of the ACL and face Brisbane Roar (Australia), Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan) and Suwon Blue Wings (South Korea), who have already qualified for the group stage.

With the loss, JDT will play in Group F of the AFC Cup with the likes of Kitchee FC (Hong Kong), East Bengal (India) and Balestier Khalsa (Singapore).

JDT had previously defeated Indian club Bengaluru FC 2-1 in the first qualifying round of the ACL at the Larkin Stadium on Feb 4.

Apart from JDT, Pahang will also play in the AFC Cup and face Global FC (Philippines), Yadanarbon (Myanmar), and South China (Hong Kong) in Group G.

The AFC Cup 2015 will begin on Feb 24 involving 32 teams from all over Asia.
