Do you have the courage and effort to push yourself to the limit? If yes, the Reebok Challenge 18.95km is the answer.

The inaugural timed obstacle race organised by Reebok will be held at Putrajaya / Taman Cabaran on September 22.

The General Manager of RSH Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Manish Sapra said the race would cover a distance of 18.95km, incorporating nine obstacles with various difficulty levels. It would definitely give the runners a new challenge when they participate in a new form of fitness.

“This is the first race of its kind in Malaysia. The athletes would endure a series of challenges, over the course of 18.95km. The course would incorporate road running, obstacles and off-road running in a single race,” he said.

He added, the 18.95km was selected due to the heritage of the brand, which was founded in 1895 by J.W Foster and Sons.

“The race targets the elite competitive runners and we expect around 3000 runners to join the race. The endurance would test the athletes on their cardio strength, upper body strength, core strength, endurance and their mental strength. All athletes would be timed using a timing chip, which would be provided to them along with the race kit,” he added.

The Reebok One Challenge is divided into two categories – Men’s Open and Women’s Open. It’s open to athletes between the age limits of 18 and 50 as of December 31.

The registration for the race will open on July 16. Interested participants can register online at Hooha.Asia.
