Selangor forced a penalty shoot-out, before winning 4-2 against Felda United FC (FUFC) during the second round FA Cup action at the Selayang Municipality Council Stadium, near here on Saturday night.

The Red Giants who are also five-time winners of the cup, are expected to face a tough match with Terengganu during the third round in March.

The match was brought to a penalty shoout-out after the two sides finished at 2-2 after extra time.

FUFC were comfortably ahead with a two-goal lead through a penalty kick from Bojan Miladinovic in the 47th minute and the second goal scored by Makeche Ndumba, three minutes later. Selangor managed to equalise the margin through Ahmad Hazwan Bakri's strike in the 78th minute and Guilherme De Paula's header in the 88th minute.

Terengganu carved a comfortable 3-1 win over Melaka United at Stadium Hang Jebat, Melaka.

The Turtles three goals were scored by Abdul Manaf Mamat (47') and Paulo Rangel (53' and 71'), while the home team's only goal was netted by Nurshamil Abd Ghani in the 88th minute.

Singaporean club Lions XII also advanced to next round after thrashing Kedah United 4-0 at the Darul Aman Stadium in Alor Setar.

The four goals for the Lions XII were scored by Mohd Afiq Yunos (37'), Mohd Sahil Suhaimi (47' and 84') and Gabriel Quak Jun Yi (62').

Lions XII will face SPA Putrajaya FC in the next round after the Klang Valley club beat the team from Pahang, Kuantan FA, 3-0 at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium in Kelana Jaya.

Another team from Terengganu, T-Team was dragged into extra time before defeating the Malaysian Armed Forces 3-0 at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium in Kuala Terengganu.

The Titan's three goals were scored by Farhod Tadjiev (101' and 109') and Mohd Safwan Rasid (106').

Perak will be taking them on the third round after beating Pahang side Shahzan Muda 3-1 at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan on Saturday.

Penang also advanced to the third round and will face Negeri Sembilan after narrowly beating Perlis 1-0, courtesy of Mohd Faiz Subri's free kick in the 71st minute at the City Hall Stadium in Penang.

At the Pasir Gudang Municipal Council Stadium, Johor Darul Ta'zim II (JDT II) recovered from being a goal down to beat Selangor PKNS FC 2-1 to book their place opposite Kedah in the next round.

The Southern Tigers were shocked by a goal from Selangor PKNS FC's Keisuke Ogawa in the first minute before overcoming the visitors with goals from Leandro Sebastien Velázquez in the 62nd minute and team captain, Mohd Shahril Ishak in the second half of injury time.

The match also saw red cards being awarded to three Selangor PKNS FC players - Muhd Khairu Azrin Khazali in the 65th minute and Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh and Fazli Baharudin towards the end of the match.
