David Guetta writing anthem for Euro 2016

The UEFA has announced the French DJ David Guetta will serve as the musical ambassador for the 2016 European Championship of football.

Taking place in France in June and July of next year, the event has enlisted Guetta to create its soundtrack, including writing the competition's official theme song, and he will perform at the opening ceremony at the Stade de France on June 10, 2016.

The day before, Guetta will perform a free concert at the Champs de Mars in Paris.

The theme song by the Grammy-winning DJ will be released ahead of the the tournament.
