Claudio Ranieri dipecat selaku pengurus Leicester City, sah pasukan bola sepak itu pagi tadi.
CLAUDIO Ranieri dipecat sebagai pengurus Leicester City, sembilan bulan selepas membawa pasukan itu meraih gelaran juara Liga Perdana Inggeris.
Pemecatan itu disahkan oleh pasukan tersebut awal pagi tadi.
Berita itu juga diumumkan sehari selepas Leicester tewas kepada Sevilla (1-2) pada aksi pertama 16 terbaik Liga Juara di Stadium Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Berasal dari Italy, Claudio merupakan tulang belakang kepada kejayaan Liga Perdana Inggeris oleh Leicester City pada tahun lepas.
The Foxes meraih kejayaan terhebat dalam sejarah 133 tahun apabila mereka dinobatkan sebagai juara England buat kali pertamanya.
Beliau juga diiktirafkan sebagai ‘Pengurus Terbaik’ oleh FIFA bulan lalu.
Ia difahamkan bahawa penolong pengurus Craig Shakespeare dan jurulatih pasukan Mike Stowell akan mengambil alih tugas Claudio sehingga pengurus baru dilantik.
Claudio mula bertugas selaku pengurus City pada Julai 2015.
Sementara itu, ramai yang tidak berpuas hati dengan tindakan pasukan bola sepak itu.
Rata-rata netizen menyifatkan Leicester City sebagai ‘pengkhianat’ dan tidak mengenang jasa pengurusnya.
Mereka menyoal keadilan di sebalik keputusan ini memandangkan Claudio merupakan punca utama pretasi mereka meningkat dan dinobat juara Liga Inggeris.
