Dollah Salleh reminded his players to focus on winning when Malaysia clash with Singapore at National Stadium, Singapore Sports Hub, this Saturday.
He admitted that Malaysia is on one-way street and only a win in the final group B match will guarantee them a place in the semi-final of AFF Suzuki Cup.
"We must focus for 90 minutes. Playing well is no good if we don't get the right result," he told reporters after the squad's training session at Bishan Stadium, here today.
The Harimau Malaya coach said Singapore should not be underestimated although they will be without the services of three key players.
They include midfielder Shahdan Sulaiman who cracked his ankle in the match against Myanmar which saw Singapore winning 4-2 at National Stadium.
The others are winger Ismadi Mukhtar (groin injury) and defender Baihakki Khaizan who was suspended for one match for collecting two yellow cards.
Dollah regretted the Malaysian players were not allowed to undergo final train session at National Stadium tomorrow.
"We just have to accept the decision by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) who wanted to maintain pitch quality."
Malaysia has no other choice but to beat Singapore to advance while the Lions only need a draw to accompany Thailand in the semi-final.
Thailand beat Singapore 2-1 in the opener at National Stadium before beating Malaysia 3-2 in a thrilling match at Jalan Besar Stadium yesterday.
