Tun Mahathir's presence at DAP conference desperate move - Melaka CM

Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron has described the presence of former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at the DAP National Conference on Sunday as a desperate move.

He said the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman was prepared to sit together with a political adversary that he had criticised for over two decades.

"His hatred for the party (DAP) ran so deep at one time, but now that hatred is just about forgotten," he said to reporters after opening the monthly assembly of the state government administration at Dewan Seri Negeri, Kompleks Seri Negeri, Ayer Keroh, here today.
