The Selangor Palace has not been informed of the termination of the tahaluf siyasi (political collaboration) between PKR and PAS, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
Azmin who is also PKR deputy president said there has been no discussion with the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah on the status of the three PAS exco in the state government.
It is understood that Azmin accompanied Sultan Sharafuddin on a visit to the Shah Alam Royal Mausoleum and the Klang Royal Mausoleum this morning.
Asked if he would refer to the palace on this issue, Mohamed Azmin told reporters: "I meet Tuanku (Sultan Sharafuddin) every Tuesday," without elaborating, when met after launching the Selangor Agrofest 2017 at Sungai Besar Stadium, here today.
Also present at the event were PAS' Zaidy Abdul Talib who is the Exco for Infrastructure and Public Utulities, Agricultural Modernisation and Agro-based Industry and Selangor PAS commissioner Sallehen Mukhyi.
On May 11, the PAS Syura Council unanimously terminated the political cooperation with PKR with immediate effect after the party allegedly failed to respect PAS as a coalition partner.
The decision led to speculation on the status of the three PAS exco members in the Selangor government led by Azmin, where the composition was three exco from PKR, three DAP and three PAS.
On Wednesday, the PAS Central Committee decided that the three PAS exco would remain in the Selangor government as provided by the Selangor State Constitution 1959.
Besides Zaidy, the other two PAS exco in the Selangor government are Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad ( Housing, Building Management and Urban Living) and Datuk Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi (Education, Human Capital Development, Science, Technology and Innovation).
