Parti Keadilan Rakyat's Rafizi Ramli today cautioned against believing news reports that claimed the party would be submitting two names to be considered for the Selangor Menteri Besar position.
In his tweet, the PKR vice-president said one should not believe the 'inside sources' quoted by the dailies in their reports.

Laporan bhw PKR mahu calonkan nama kedua utk MB tidak benar. Jgn percaya berita yg "sumber dalaman" & dtg dari NST The Star dll

Both the DAP and PKR had been consistent in submitting only one name - PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail - as the candidate to replace Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
The move had irked the Selangor Sultan, who was deeply saddened that the two parties did not heed his decree on Aug 27 to submit more than one name for the MB post.
The palace had also deemed the action as insolent and treacherous.
DAP and PKR had since apologised but PKR defended its action in the issue, saying that it conforms to the state constitution.
PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the practice of submitting one name as the Menteri Besar candidate was followed since the country achieved independence in 1957.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said PKR has failed to understand the state consitution when it disputed the Sultan’s role in the Selangor MB appointment.
