Nurul Izzah has been deemed as insensitive to the feelings of Sabahans following her meet with princess Jacel Jamalul Kiram.
Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) vice-president Japiril Suhaimin wants the state government to bar Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar from entering Sabah following her meeting with Sulu princess Jacel Jamalul Kiram.
Japiril in his Facebook posting Thursday urged the Sabah state government to bar Nurul Izzah following her meeting with the princess, who was the spokesperson for Sultan Jamalul Kiram III during the Lahad Datu armed intrusion by soldiers from the Sulu Sultanate in 2013.
"Nurul Izzah has hurt the sensitivity of the people of Sabah who had lost their loved ones during the intrusion by soldiers loyal to Jamalul Kiram during the armed battle with Malaysian security forces in Tanduo. Stop her from entering Sabah,” he said.
One comment received on Facebook urged all PKR representatives in Sabah to stop supporting PKR.
"If Nurul Izzah remains in contact with Princess Jacel, all reps in Sabah must quit PKR and don't expect the people of Sabah to support the party," said Mohd Norazman Injah.
"Say No to PKR," said another posting on the Facebook.
Several pictures of Nurul Izzah and Princess Jacel was uploaded in social media and gone viral, drawing criticism.
