Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah, said such a motion, as the PKR proposed to table, would be futile because there was no concurrence among the opposition parties.
PAS has said that it was not consulted or informed about an opposition plan to table a vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in the Dewan Rakyat.
Its vice-president, Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah, said such a motion, as the PKR proposed to table, would be futile because there was no concurrence among the opposition parties.
"If there is no proper preparation, no discussion, no concurrence, then it will be just any ordinary motion," he told reporters after attending the Silver Jubilee celebration of PAS rule in Kelantan at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here last night.
MP Hee Loy Sian (PKR-Petaling Jaya Selatan) said yesterday that he would withdraw his motion for a vote of no-confidence against the Prime Minister to pave the way for Opposition Leader and PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to table a similar motion.
However, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia had said that the motion might not be accepted for debate because it must be submitted 14 days before the beginning of the Dewan Rakyat session.
