Pas president's son is the new Youth chief

Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi, the son of Pas president, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang won uncontested in for the 2017-2019 term.
Khalil, 40, who had previously held the position of Pas youth deputy chief, succeeded Pas youth chief, Nik Mohd Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz.
It is understood that Nik Mohd Abduh, who is Pasir Mas Member of Parliament dropped his position to make way for young blood. He was recently nominated to contest a seat in the Central Working Committee.
Pas Central Selection Committee also announced Khairil Nizam Khiruddin as the new Pas youth deputy, after he too, won uncontested.
He was previously Youth Pas vice-chief.
Ahmad Fadhli Shaari was named vice chief, after he held the post of Youth wing Information chief.
The voting for 12 committee members will continue for the other 14 candidates.
The selection will be held the Pas Youth Muktamar on April 27 in Alor Setar, Kedah.
