MCA is targeting to win at least four state seats in Negeri Sembilan in the 14th general election, says MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

He said it was to meet the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) set by Negeri Sembilan Barisan Nasional chairman, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

The four state seats are Chennah, Repah, Nilai and Chuah.

"The target of four seats is the minimum so if possible, we want a bigger victory as we are allotted two parliamentary seats and 10 state seats to contest. With the state BN chairman's strong endorsement, we will work harder to garner the people's support.

"We have zero seats now and we will ensure the 'egg' is broken this time to deliver more seats in the state," he told reporters after opening the Negeri Sembilan MCA annual general meeting, here, today.

Also present were Mohamad, who is also the menteri besar, and MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong. -- BERNAMA
