Former Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim has no plans to join any political party for the time being.
"I have urged the Registrar of Societies (ROS) to determine whether there was justice in my sacking (from post of Selangor menteri besar) in August 2015.
"I am still waiting for a decision from the ROS," he told reporters during a walkabout session with petty traders, here today.
Abdul Khalid was sacked from PKR for refusing to submit his resignation as Selangor Menteri Besar to PKR president Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Ismail.
Asked why he was campaigning for PAS candidate Dr Abdul Rani Osman, Abdul Khalid said he only repaying the kindness of the Islamist party for supporting him during his tenure as Selangor menteri besar.
"PAS helped me in the 2008 and 2013 general elections and also during the Selangor Menteri Besar crisis in 2014," he added.
Sungai Besar by-election on June 18 is a three cornered fight between Budiman Mohd Zohdi (BN), Dr Abdul Rani (PAS) and Azhar Abdul Shukur (AMANAH).
It was called following the death of its member of parliament, Tan Sri Noriah Kasnon in a helicopter crash in Sarawak on May 5.
