"I do not want 'Yes Man' leaders," says Najib

UMNO president, Datuk Seri Najib Razak stressed that he is not a president who wants “Yes Man” in the party.

“I am not a president who wants all UMNO leaders to be ‘Yes Man!’.

“If our party consists of only ‘Yes Man’ then we will not have contradicting and different opinions,” said Najib during his opening speech at the Bandar Tun Razak UMNO division meeting, here.

He added all party leaders can exchange opinions, however they will need to adhere to any decision made by the party.

“We can exchange opinions, bang tables, argue during meetings, but just don’t throw chairs.

“But when the party makes its decision, we must act on the responsibility of Collective Responsibility,” said Najib.
