Pakatan Harapan chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed is not ruling out the possibility of contesting in any area in the 14th General Election if the situation warrants it, namely, if no suitable candidates is found.
Met at a Kedah Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) Hari Raya gathering, he, however, for now the party still had many qualified candidates.
"I have not decided yet whether I will contest or not, only in a desperate situation will I contest but at this time it does not appear desperate," he said.
Prior to this, rumours were rife saying the PPBM chairman would contest in GE14.
